Compassion and Religion

Behavior is driven by belief and molded by experiences. In other words, alchemy. Alchemy changes your perceptions of the world. Some behaviors or practices actually change your bodies neurophysiology.

I wonder what would happen if the whole world would practice the behavior of compassion?

I wonder what would happen to "our world" if each of us practiced compassion?

Enlightenment is a biological process, say many of my original teachers.

It is also about compassion in everything we ARE and DO.

Great quote:

“I say that religion isn’t about believing things. It’s ethical alchemy. It’s about behaving in a way that changes you, that gives you intimations of holiness and sacredness.”

~Karyn Armstrong, former nun and author of over 20 books and 2008, Ted Wish winner, Charter for Compassion.
